Elena Salmistraro is a fashion and product designer who lives and works in Milan, Italy. She graduated from Milan Polytechnic in 2008 and in September 2010 created her fashion and design label under the name 'Alla's'. In September 2009 she founded with architect Angelo Stoli, Alko_studio. A collaboration that bridges together architecture and design, where she still works today. Elena's interests range from fashion design to product design, and her line of thought is particularly attentive to the world of 'Environmental Sustainability'. Using simple materials for her creations, or ecological, such as paper, cardboard, Jacroki, Eco leather, ceramics, felt and scraps of various kinds.
