PlantIt plant and the umbrella stand and clothes hanger. Empty base in plastic cement and structure in welded metal tubes. As a child I was always fascinated by an old carved stone vase, full of earth and with a wooden club that perhaps had served some plant passed away. My grandmother had the vase at the entrance to the door and we all used it as umbrella stands on rainy days. Once filled with umbrellas (planted in the earth) all of various sizes, that vase became a beautiful plant for me. Someone also hung the hat on the wooden bat. I couldn't understand why other people bought umbrella stands when a vase was enough.
