Biography:
BANNACH is a Berlin-based furniture brand, founded by Moritz Bannach in 2018. The brand pursues a strong interdisciplinary approach and feels at home in the areas of design, architecture and art. In close cooperation with selected manufacturers in Germany, BANNACH creates modern furniture characterized by its unmistakable design and premium quality. BANNACH creates objects that not only rovide functional benefits, but also represent strong aesthetic values. Purist design and a bold combination of colors are among the core design features of the brand. During his study of landscape architecture in Berlin, Moritz Bannach followed his diverse interests and expanded his knowledge in other disciplines such as architecture, design and art history. His integrative approach to various creative disciplines is clearly reflected in the fundamental direction of the BANNACH brand. After successfully completing his studies, Moritz Bannach worked for dopo_domani for over five years, one of the most prestigious addresses for high-quality interior design in Berlin, until he founded BANNACH
in 2018.

Abbondio is a modern dining and conference table, designed by Moritz Bannach in 2018. Its defining characteristic are two sets of crossed table legs carrying an impressive table top. Abbondio features a strong sculptural character, further underlined by the combination of a purist design with a selection of expressive colors Abbondio offers space for 8 - 10 people, making it a versatile piece of furniture for use in the living and working area. The table can be disassembled into seven parts and is easily assembled using a simple interlocking mechanism. Abbondio can be optionally equipped with adjustable feet to ensure a secure and level positioning on any floor surface. Abbondio is available in ‚lacquered MDF‘ or ‚lacquered ash veneer‘. Abbondio is the first published furniture by BANNACH and reflects the core stylistic elements of the brand. It has been awarded with the German Design Award and Iconic Award 2019.
