Handmade furniture - We believe in process, from the very initial sketches to the last woodworking detail. Materiality and form combined tell great stories, and Jucá is about bringing the cozyness of your grandmother's living room together with a twenty-first century design. Life is made of great stories, and because of that we listen to you, to develop furniture that suits our clients desires and needs, while still using our own design language is our main goal.

Zephira

Zephira is a versatile beverage cart, designed for your home. With modern design and materiality that reminds us of our grandma´s house, Zephira is suitable from daily activities to fine events. It was designed to fit a vinyl player and its albums, but it can also be used for serving drinks and as a side table for your parties. The cart is composed of natural Brazilian wood (Freijó and Sucupira), texturized glass and traditional twisted straw.

 

 

Isadora

Isadora is a light weighted piece of furniture that can fit books and magazines, and also works as a perfectly good side table for your living room. Because of its weight and design, it can be easily carried around. Its materiality is composed of mixes plywood, natural wood veneer, painted iron, synthetic leather and terrazzo shelving.

Anunciata                                                                                                                      Anunciata is a side table made using fine joinery techniques - no screws are need to hold all of its pieces together! Its design was made to fit a variety of couches and sofas, and it can bewhether for leisure or work time. A mix between modern and vintage materiality, can be sold with two different options of glasses. Similar to our beverage cart, it is composed of natural Brazilian wood (Freijó), texturized or milk glass and traditional twisted straw. 

Milano

Milano is an exclusive and original bench designed especially for din, in which we take a step

forward in our materialities mixing. As we frequently do, this bench is put together using fine

joinery with glue, and only with solid wood is used. The material that we are now introducing in a couple of pieces is terrazzo, an old-fashioned material that is making its bug comeback now. Its vintage identity is complemented by the use of twisted straw on its back support.
