Minsk Design Week partner of Din 2015
Minsk Design Week (MDW) is an independent initiative that develops and promotes design in Belarus.
The main exhibition organizing in beginning of May. First MDW was held in 2012. Event includes a few expositions, talks, meetings, days of opened designer`s showrooms in all the city and film screenings about design. The expositions displays the works of designers from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland. We make an accent on an object design and industrial design. Our aim is to unveil new names, demonstrate and test novelties in the sphere of design, promote cooperation among designers, introduce new talents to professionals and display most recent findings to the public. Our current mission is to educate, teach and share. MDW is an initiative that organizes exhibitions in Belarus and abroad supporting various projects and arranges trips for local designers to international festivals or design-related events.
