Biography:
Ivan Midžić, academy sculptor was born 6th of April 1976. in Osijek, Croatia. Graduated sculpture 2002 in the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, class of prof. Šime Vulas. Master degree Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, class of prof. Jože Barši.
Concept:
Considering the fact that he has combined his jewels more as a sculptor than a designer, it is difficult to talk about a collection. Particular pieces of his jewels come from each other following the logic of form. Only then, when a jewel follows that logic, it becomes an independent object that can present its work. When that happens, it includes it in an exhibition or a fashion show that combines several pieces in a sort of collection.
