NID Nuovo Istituto Design

Biography:

NID Nuovo Istituto Design, is based in Perugia since 1983 and is operating in the fields of education in the disciplines of Interior Design, Fashion Design, Photography, Illustration and Comics and Graphic Design. The institute proposes annual and triennial educational cycles, complete and practical, as a valid alternative to the university choice. NID’s teachers come from the industry and currently work around the world in the fields of design, visual communication and fashion.

Concept:

"Ordinary Imaginary", conceived and produced in collaboration with the teachers of the Product Design course, Luca Binaglia and Interior Design, Agnese Pierotti responds to the contemporary trend that sees living spaces increasingly populated by iconographic accessories. Precisely for this reason, this year the students present a study in Milan on objects designed to decorate. The furnishings, simplified in their forms and therefore almost out of time and space, aim to make ordinary spaces unique. The intrinsic value of the collection is that it was made in ceramics by the expert craftsmen of Deruta, Umbrian excellence, according to the traditions of this technique. "Ordinary Imaginary" consists of four harmonious and elegant objects (Florenzo, Nyx, Raffaello, Wottie Pottie) at the same time that wink at the worlds created by our imagination.
