The installation consists of a transparent pneumatic structure filled with Swiss mountain air that offers visitors the opportunity to take a breath of fresh air during the hectic week of the Fuorisalone. "Flow Pressure" catalyzes a critical, yet playful reflection around socio-economic structures of modern life – bubbles – translating their abstract iterations eg. filter bubble, environmental bubble, economic bubble etc. in a physical and interactive experience specifically dealing with the effects of air pollution in urban environments. "Flow Pressure" aims to create an awareness of the ambiguity of bubbles as illusions of safe havens, escapes and shelters from the complexities of modern life and the often implausible and inconsistent promises about the future they carry.
