Biography:

Former student in chemistry Melis Yarman, (1982) made the choice to explore her creativity through other paths than universities and schools of arts. Since 2006, she's designing and making her own jewelry lines, with techniques she learned by her own. Experimentation, diversity of materials and empirical combinaisons are her mottoes. Ubik Lab was born from her desire to build up a brand resembling her universe, where boundaries between styles, materials and shapes are erased. " I like to see objects and concepts as they are, to finally discover their inner contradictions. I believe that questioning the notion of reality and the sole dimension of an object can lead us to different meanings, potentially richer. My work is an attempt to create an extension of this idea/dream"
