Biografia
AYCA OZBANK TASKAN: Ayça was born to a family of artists in Istanbul. In 2005, she moved to Venice to study architecture. After receiving her BArch from Universita IUAV di Venezia she continued her studies in Milan and received an MSc from Politecnico di Milano.
After living in Helsinki and Berlin, Ayça now resides in Paris where she founded Mara Design Studio.
Her jewellery designs are in uenced especially by architecture, by various eras and styles in art.
MARA PARIS: Mara Paris is a contemporary jewelry brand based in Paris and designed by an architect. In the collections, architectural and urban inspirations turn into wearable pieces.
Mara Paris’ designer Ayça Özbank has lived in different cities before Paris. For this reason, it’s possible to find elements coming from different cities and cultures within the collections.
Mara Paris combines contemporary design with craft production.
