Olaf Recht

	Nato e cresciuto a Lussemburgo, la sua formazione in design lo ha portato dalla Svizzera a Milano, fino a Los Angeles, dove si è laureato nel 1998 presso l’Art Center College of Design di Pasadena. Per più di dieci anni ha lavorato nel campo del design di consumo, sanitario, strategico e di interfaccia, prima di fare ritorno in Lussemburgo ed immergersi nel mondo dell’arredamento, dell’illuminazione e dell’interior design. Born and raised in Luxembourg, Olaf’s design education took him from Switzerland through Milan to Los Angeles, where he graduated in 1998 from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. For over ten years he worked in the fields of consumer and medical design, interface and design strategy before returning to Luxembourg and immerse himself into the world of furniture, lighting and interior design.

Nest Sofa Chair is intended to welcome you to cuddle up in and lounge. Its support structure and shell could remind of either an open hand, a bird nest or a soft cushioned basket inviting to curl up and relax.
Soft Cut

Illuminazione, Lighting Soft Cut è costituita da un foglio di metallo piegato in nove sezioni. La luce passa attraverso i tagli e le pieghe delle sfaccettature, creando così delle aperture attraverso cui la luce filtra, e il risultato è un oggetto brillante. Soft Cut is a bent sheet metal lamp made of nine sections. The light is breaking through the cuts and bends of the facetted shade to create sharp light openings and diffused panels, and the result is a sparkling light object.
