"ANIMA" cabinet desgined by Beatriz Sempere & Ari Signes Why "Anima" ?. "Anima " is the first design we have created together and we wanted to choose a name that could hold the essence of who and what we are .The soul is ethereal and as the bearer of life is immortal .It looks like wind, you can't see it but can feel it . We put our soul into everything we do . We strongly believe that it's the only way to make what we do perdurable . " OH " was the main source of inspiration when we started to work on this new design . We just soaked up all feelings and emotions that "OH" made us feel and finally one word sprang in our minds whenever we try to describe it ...."Yin" . "OH" , brings out the feminine side of "Anima" and taking this idea as starting point we begun to work on concept design that embraces the femenine side of OH creating a particularly pleasing sense of harmony and balances at the same time . Anima holds duality and balance between two equal and oppossing forces ...masculinity and feminity ..."Yin & Yang" . The contrast between cold steel and warm wood , minimalistic design and voluptuosity ,synthetic and organic , light and shadow make "Anima" become unique and versatil . Another thing that we had in mind was the mythical duality: union of opposites such as light/dark .We have incorporated LED lighting into the design ..so Anima will make the atmosphere at night become cosier and more sensual . The words "Duality and Balance" describe Anima perfectly .Anima is completely adaptable to any style of home and it will provide visual interest to any room
