Design For 2015 is the fourth chapter of a story about people and objects and how a design product is created.
Design For, an idea by Promotedesign.it, was created aiming to offer designers the opportunity to come into contact with the most important International design companies. This publication wants to show to design users the first tools leading to a finished product. The book is conceived to bring awareness about an ever growing offer of creativity both to users and producers in the design industry . The large designer participation as well as companies’ feedback who have used the book not only to select products but also to recruit employees, has made it a matter of even greater need to implement the project with a yearly edition of Design For.
For the first time, Design For will be presented to the eyes of a worldwide audience, bringing together 300 concepts created by 150 international designers. It contains more than 1500 images with both English and Italian descriptions, to accompany not only the professional's reading but also the devotee's. There is also a space for special features dedicated to companies like Bosa, Gufram and Pedrali, and to internationally renowned designers such as Adriano Design, Giovanni Levanti and Makio Hasuike.
Once again this year, Design for is born of the partnership with Logo Fausto Lupetti Editore, a collaboration that has been renewed year after year since the first edition, supporting the project of the book/catalogue with the goal of bringing closer and open the public and the producers to an ever-growing well of creativity. Following the previous publications, Design For 2015 wishes to favor the encounter of talented designers with the most important companies of the sector, but most of all wishes to ignite, also in a heterogeneous public, the interest for creativity transpired from every single product featured in this volume.
Design For 2015 sets the date for April, in occasion of Milan's Design Week (April 14-19, 2015), when the volume will be presented to the public.
