Aqua Creations introduces its new Lamps

What is more than the sum of its parts? Family. That’s the thinking behind out brand new lighting collection, the ToTeM Family. Each fixture – lyrically named To, Te, and M – has their own unique personality and shape, and can be used to illuminate any space thanks to their powerful LED base. But put these fixtures together and that’s when the magic really happens: they become an illuminated totem.

Stack these adaptable and powerful lighting fixtures on top of each other to create a number of unique and fun patterns. Mount them in clusters, pairs, or triplets and let their personality shine through. “To Te and M are like people – they come in a number of shapes and sizes, from tall and thin, to squat and curvy,’ says Aqua Creations co-founder and designer, Albi Serfaty. ‘This ‘nuclear family’ of fixtures bring out the best in each other because they have an inherent sense of playfulness and simplicity. They work well in each other’s company, but they’ve also got strong personalities of their own.”

Each member of the ToTeM Family is available in a hanging pendants or floor lamp version – complete with built-in storage shelf – and is built with a lightweight steel frame and crisp, white polymer shade. The ToTeM range uses a powerful LED lighting mechanism, which is suitable for home environments, as well public spaces. Each individual lighting fixture starts from €1,199.00 and is available internationally through our approved distributors and sales representatives. The ToTeM range is the latest addition to our new generation of simple, affordable lighting fixtures.

About Albi Serfaty

Albi is the creative director of Aqua Creations, which he co-founded in 1992 with artist Ayala Serfaty. A professional photographer by trade, Albi has been designing all of Aqua’s sculptural lighting objects – which are made by hand in the studio – since 2011.

Aqua Creations is a Tel Aviv lighting design studio founded in 1992. Aqua is best known for its sculptural luminous design pieces which blur the line between design and art. Its dramatic lighting designs can be found in luxury hotels, restaurants and private houses across the globe. Aqua’s atelier employs a team of 25 master artisans who handcraft each design to order. The studio is currently innovating in the field of RGB LED circadian lighting or ‘wellness lighting’ for a new generation of clients. Aqua Creations has collaborated with some of the world’s most celebrated architecture and design studios, including Norman Foster + Partners, Studio Gang, Tadao Ando, Herzog & de Meuron, Frank Gehry and Sou Fujimoto, among others.
