M.zone from Wiesner-Hager

Get in the zone!

Future offices present employees with a differentiated, varying working environment, which offers an atmosphere to support each task. Rigid space structures are disintegrating. Demands are being governed more and more by activities. Activity based working is the word of the hour.

With m.zone, Wiesner-Hager has developed a completely new design concept for offices, which can be integrated perfectly into the organization of agile businesses. m.zone is a series of upholstered furniture, made up of individual elements such as screens (paravents), combination and free-standing furniture. These are put together to form modular furniture to create new working environments – completely according to the customer’s individual expectations. The areas of use in office architecture are varied: m.zone can be found in open space offices, in central office zones, crossways and lounges as well as in reception and waiting areas.

While the classic office workplace tends to be streamlined and downsized, the workspacerelated free spaces move into shared zones - areas in which m.zone can be used differently:

m.zone working: Modules for concentrated, temporary work. Inspired by a classic bureau, this furniture – depending on the combination – offers more or lesser shielded individual workspaces for working from time to time.

m.zone meeting: Spaces for collaboration and communication. Variably linked screens build the basis for flexibly useful applications such as (team) meetings, informal discussions or idea workshops. The furniture can be individually chosen according to the situation.

m.zone relaxing:  Quiet areas and islands of withdrawal and repose. Put together from comfortable seating furniture and shielding screens, a relaxed atmosphere is created for breaks, informal discussions and social communication.
