A unique pattern made up of 7 different precious marbles: the piece of the architect and designer Hannes Peer, which results from an intense dialogue with DelSavio1910, enhances the use of stone, and embodies the encounter of creativity and craftsmanship into a shield of exceptional sculptural impact.
With Vento, Peer has wisely interpreted the new path that the company has taken since 2020, the year of the 110th anniversary of its foundation. Since then, Del Savio has innovated its own tradition by opening up to hybrid and global scenarios. Vento is born out of the eclectic language of the designer - who combines poetic vision and rigorous codes -, and the know-how of DelSavio, whose name is famous for the company’s expertise in manufacturing stone materials by integrating modern processes and artisanal knowledge.
Vento testifies to the dialogue that can be established between the culture of international design and the characteristic know-how of Italian excellence. With its radial development, the shield recalls the wind rose and it arouses curiosity for its graphic effect created through a process of controlled randomness.
The shield is also a symbolic homage to Milan and its most iconic architecture, the city where Hannes has based his studio since 2009 after graduating from the Milan Politecnico and the TU-Technische Universität Berlin. The light and mobile shapes recall the spires of the cathedral, the beveled edges recall the work of Gio Ponti and, in particular, the Pirellli skyscraper.
