Ceramiche Refin returns, as always in great style, to the International Ceramic Exhibition in Bologna, one of the most important events for the sector worldwide.
For the occasion Ceramiche Refin will leave its usual position in hall 36, where it has been located for 30 years, and will move into a new exhibition space in hall 30, a renewed, expanded booth where the ceramic company will have the opportunity to unveil several new collections, a symbol of its unique approach to product research and the creative process.
Among the absolute stars of Cersaie by Refin is Canal Grande, a collection inspired by the most glamorous soul of Venice and the famous city's nautical culture.
Canal Grande pays homage to the magical atmosphere of the lagoon with a clear prominence of mahogany, the material traditionally used to build boats, luxury motorboats and the famous Venetian taxis.
The collection is the result of a multi-level research to discover the craftsmanship excellence of the nautical sector carried out by Refin's Tile Designers, who then deepened the research in the field in collaboration with a historic shipyard in Venice. After careful observation of the mahogany boards, the product was developed, which shows the peculiarities of the inspiring material on ceramic slabs with a targeted and intense appearance.
Its gentle vintage accent recalls a period that marked Italian culture in design, fashion, art and became a symbolic moment of a worldly lifestyle, which decreed the rebirth of Italy after World War II.
Even at first glance, Canal Grande takes one back to the most luxurious and sophisticated environments of the jet set.
The graphics are characterised by parallel but uneven lines, which create a blurred effect and give a distinct depth that is particularly accentuated in the glossy finish.
Canal Grande is offered in three colour variants: Rubino, Noce and Moro, the shades specially chosen to fuel the imagination linked to vintage boats. The three colours are available in two formats, 75x150 and 25x150, and in two soft and glossy finishes.
Canal Grande, like all Refin stoneware, is robust and long-lasting, hygienic, hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial and easy to clean. It is also fireproof, safe and eco-sustainable because it is made from natural raw materials and is 100% recyclable.
Once again, the Emilian company wanted to pay homage to the beauty and excellence of Italy to create a product capable of astonishing both for its aesthetic sophistication and high performance standards. This is possible thanks to the hard work of the company's tile designers, who, with their know-how combined with an original creative flair, are able to update the cues inherited from the past. This is also possible thanks to the potential of stoneware, which Ceramiche Refin, with its constant research, is able to exploit to the full.
