The new family of workspace lamps by Flos Architectural offers maximum performance and lighting comfort in a minimal thickness, unique in the sector

Designed by Flos Architectural, Workmates is a family of luminaires with a contemporary language and essential lines, comprising suspension, ceiling, track and floor solutions.

Equipped with state-of-the-art lighting technology and customized glare-free lenses, Workmates is designed to guarantee maximum lighting comfort in any workplace.

All luminaires in the family are created from an aluminum extrusion that is flattened and rounded at the edges and houses several light clusters. Thanks to extreme maximum material reduction and miniaturization they feature an extreme subtlety of form, unique in the office lighting sector. This makes them visually discreet yet extremely efficient and customizable in terms of light quality.

Light is emitted both up and downwards. Towards the worktop, light is provided by LED clusters, diffused evenly and glare-free thanks to the position of the lenses. The LED modules illuminating upwards, on the other hand, balance the light contrast and offer visual comfort designed for well-being in the workplace.

All variants can be controlled via building automation systems (DALI or CASAMBI) and in particular for lighting management according to the circadian rhythm. In this case, the light temperature is adjusted automatically according to the time of day, in accordance with the natural rhythm of sunlight.

With exclusive aesthetics featuring an extra thin design (15mm thick), high end finishes and full color palette (total white, white, total black and anodized grey with silver finishes), Workmates represents an unprecedented collection in the Flos Architectural catalogue.

Circular design and well-being: a family with a conscious soul

Circularity, cutting-edge technology and maximum visual comfort go hand in hand in Workmates's design, a large family of lighting tools created with a conscious soul, whose components are reduced to a minimum. Each model is easy to assembly and disassembly, in order to simplify repairability, upgrade or disposal at the end of its life cycle.

By offering an extended light emission area and a wider uplight spread, Workmates guarantees the best visual comfort available on the market. It is also designed to house sensors and wireless equipment to further improve energy savings and usability.

The lamps are optimized for circadian entrainment patterns which, by exploiting two separate control channels, offer a powerful, white and neutral uplight and a warmer, low-glare downlight.
