ANDREA ANTONIO FIORAVANTE

Andrea Antonio Fioravante was born in Barletta in 1985. He is graduate in Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Bari. He is a designer with an innate creative ability. His first projects stand out both for their disarming simplicity and aesthetic originality and for their high functional characters. He conceives his project in a straightforward way, thus avoiding to twist the wonderful shapes of nature. He takes cue and inspiration from the organic shapes of nature which everyday fills man’s sight. All his projects show these characteristics. He is involved in social work and is currently engaged in a project to be destined to poor African countries - which are affected by serious drought problems - and it consists in the realization of a desalinator at low energy consumption, made of ecosustainable materials. He is also very keen on motorcycle and is now working on his dissertation by designing the Hi-Tech Helmet, a crash helmet with innovative solutions which improve motorcyclist’s safety. He has taken part in the national competition "Helmets design contest 2011" getting through to the finals.
