VALERIO COMETTI

Valerio Cometti, born in 1975, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and in 2005 opens “Valerio Cometti+V12 Design”.

In a short amount of time, bringing together the sensitivity of a designer and the vision of an engineer, Cometti begin collaborating with prestigious brands: in 2006 is appointed art director for Brionvega. Soon after, he starts working together with FDV Group, creating famous lamps such as Katana and Bow.

In 2008, Valerio Cometti follows the legacy of Castiglioni, Bonetto and Sottsass, as he’s in charge of designing the most famous coffee machines in the world: LaCimbali e Faema.

In recent years, more prestigious companies have asked Valerio Cometti+V12 Design to develop their products: pieces of furniture for Riva1920, consumer electronics for Mediaset, outdoor solutions for Corradi and eyewear for FEB31st.
