SIMONE RIVA

Riva Simone (1973) is an Italian architect and designer. After graduating in Master of Art in Furniture and studying architecture, he graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan in 1999. He began his professional activity at the Milano Interni group and subsequently for the Interni Mobili e Design group, as chief architect and project manager. Numerous achievements in the contract sector both in Italy and abroad (United Arab Emirates, Russia, Kazakhstan, France, Czech Republic). In 2005 he founded Riva Simone Factory Design Studio, an interdisciplinary reality that ranges from architecture to interior design, to product design. In recent years he has gained a deep knowledge of the HoReCa sector, thanks to the collaboration with the Angelo Po group, for which he will design and follow the technical and artistic direction of restaurants and commercial concepts. A strong technical connotation, the experience gained in the field in the knowledge of materials and innovative manufacturing technologies, the creative nature and the uniqueness of his architectural language, these are the distinctive features of his work; realizations and collaborations range in various sectors, from Horeca to Interior Design, from Oil to Commercial Architecture. The daily design experience, alongside the Italian artisan and industrial culture, the personalization of the environments and products he created, the atmospheres generated as an expression of "tailoring" knowledge, give value and uniqueness to his creations. He works as a freelancer, and consultant for individuals and multinationals in the sector; as an expert on the subject, he held lectures at the Polytechnic of Milan and updating and consultancy conferences for professionals and companies, concerning commercial strategy, CMF engineering, brand identity and concept creation in the Supplies, Design & Horeca sector. Projects are currently underway in Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia; some of his creations are published in well-known magazines in the product design & contract sector.
