Mention of worth in the contest of design "author's fireplace 2006 " announced by the firm The Hearth (Spoleto) for the project "OVOSODO", with the following judgment "Winning for the ability to re-phrase the figurative aspect of the object, for the simplicity and the effectiveness reached, for the communicative immediateness of the representation, for the possible producibilità of the same object." Brief concorsuale: The most inclined avant-garde have understood the importance of the design that can live of applied conventions to-hoc to a project (as that of barbecue and grill proposed by the second section of the contest '' author's Fireplace '') that can stand up on '' not .regole '', pushing himself over the five senses and representing technical metaphors through manifold languages and complexes. A language however that can be perceived by all the consumers in appropriate way to her own sensibilities.
The second section of the contest '' author's Fireplace '' he has chosen as fears proposed to the participants, barbecue and grill, giving an ample space to the competitors on the choice of the material, on the dimensions that however must respect the limits of the practicality and real possibility of the realization of the prototypes, but above all with the purpose to maintain the dialogue among art / innovation / production, among the lived modern and the classical forms, among the quality of the way of living the daily paper and the social expansion in the commercial choices. The purpose of the contest is to rediscover new tendencies, formality, lines in the design of the barbecue & grill ambientato in the outside of the domestic inside, but that they are able to mirror the natural environment of our daily life.
