SoFar/SoNear is a young Milan based company operating in the high-end market for interiors. From the very beginning the offer was marked by the proposal of innovative home textiles, felts and carpets complying with standards of sustainable development. The idea was to inject a little Italian style into the all too often rather style free arena of traditional handcraft.
Cuprum is the newly born range of textiles, developed in partnership with Telerie d'Arte.
Especially suited for the high-end contract, Cuprum comes from a constant search of unique and unusual materials.
It is a veritable copper fabric, that combines the mass and shine of metal leaf with the softness of a textile.
The uniqueness of the collection is the result of the know-how developed by Telerie d'Arte in the field of precious yarns with the design research of SoFar/SoNear.
Gold, copper, titanium, black, rose and salmon is the colour palette of the plain fabrics.
Cuprum is flame retardant and highly resistant, thus making it the ideal fabric for the Hospitality.
Marilyn, a part of Cuprum range, is designed by Marco Piva.
A collection of weaved metal fabrics, that is going to be presented first time at this year's Salone Internazionale del Mobile, in SoFar/SoNear showroom, located in the heart of Milan.
Diamonds, rubies, pearls are the motifs weaved into copper yarns, as the inspiration idea of the collection were jewels and precious stones.
The outcome is a range of precious and innovative textiles for the interiors.
