Unfortunately we are not able to realize our design for the new-to-build headquarters for the ERSTE Group (signage and wayfinding system - second best entry of an european invitation-only competition). Interpreting our approach of the signage being always the interface between the architecture and the human being as a woven layer in the buildings' surfaces, unit-design developped a concept of 'changing visibility' depending on were you are and from where you are looking. The change from unsharp to sharp appearance of letterings creates distinctive and unique places and in that sense orientation. The wayfinding system is supplemented by digital devices, both fix installed multi-touch tables to simplify the reception of guest as well as apps to sow you your way through the building parts via VR-technology.
