MECHANIKA is a prestigious coat stand, for the house or the office, endowed with four knobs and a bar designed to hang some coat hangers. The coat stand is available in two versions: MECHANIKA Supercone and MECHANIKA Bolt. Supercone is part of a INSILVIS research project focusing on basic geometry: cone, cylinder, cube, sphere. The extreme simplicity, well supported by the high quality of materials and by the perfect technical production, magnifies the three-dimensional values and the expressive richness. BOLT is literally a standard object, as a mechanical part. Lightly modified in order to warrant a perfect fastening and utilized as a coat hook, it becomes a readymade object. Strength and design come from its nature: endowed with an exaggerated vigour for the actual use, it promotes a sort of perceptual short-circuit.
