COOKA is a foldable stovetop that can be easily moved and stored away. Now the kitchen is everywhere! As an alternative to traditional stovetop cooking, COOKA uses new technologies and new materials to offer a new look and new potential uses. COOKA’s combination of silver heating plates and a liquid silicone rubber (LSR) mat creates a lightweight functional stovetop that can be easily folded away. Silver is the metal with the highest thermal conductivity, and it ensures rapid heating for the cooking plates and fast cooling during shutdown. The LSR is non-toxic and able to maintain its characteristics in temperatures ranging from 60°C to 280°C. Small holes beside the silver plates allow streams of hot air to rise from beneath the LSR mat and surround the cooking pot, creating an efficient heating system. LED lights set into the LSR mat indicate the temperature, which can be controlled with simple buttons. A dimpled zone between the hotplates provides an area on which lukewarm pots can be set down. COOKA is easy to clean and can be folded like a tablecloth.
