PICUÁ 2011| PLASTIC| VARIOUS COLOURS| DIMENSIONS H x W x D/ 65 x 95 x 85| PICUÁ is a rotationally moulded plastic armchair. The inspirational idea for this design proposal was the hemp basket used to keep food and utensils, originally made by the Tupi-Guarani Indians called picuá, and then passed on empirically from generation into generation to their descendants, The Matutos, people from the field, who have changed it into a hand sewed cloth bag for keeping their belongings on journeys, and when full, it was also used as a seat. It has smooth and pure lines matching with a clean design.
