The collection comes to life from the desire to contaminate different environments such as design, fashion, art, circus and cinema which are connected to the themes of sustainability and restoration. By means of iconographic morphologies, objects elicit images that the observer assimilates through his/her own background, recalling personal life experiences. The objects are made with recycled aluminium, converted from household packaging waste. The tin of tuna or the can of beer is therefore reincarnated into an interior design item. The extracted aluminium sheets are laser cut and air bent and, from a flat surface, a three-dimensional space retaining bi-dimensional attributes is born. The building process is commissioned to the craftsmen at Funny Metal, a company that has been operating for many years in the metal component manufacturing industry.
