How to put light at the very heart of a design feature? How to turn it into something tangible, a constituent part of the object that generates and spreads it?
Thanks to the use of manually bent plexyglass rods and LED technology Lab145 has given shape to a real tree of light, reproducible and yet never the same since each of it's part is processed by hand.
An sculpture rather than a piece of furniture that expresses life, visual presence, light even when switched off.
An object with a strong personality, but elegant and discreet, which fully reveals its charm when it shines in the dark.
As the trees change through the seasons, Hikari can change shape and appearance adapting to the characteristics and moods of the environment where it is located, always surprisingly and pleasantly different.
