Layers is a lighting system which enables you to create your own mood by varying the light color and intensity and by letting different marble panels overlap and slide over one another. The way in which LEDs light and marble crystals interact generates unexpected and fascinating effects. A simple folded aluminium sheet lodges two flat LEDs sources, one white and the other RGB. The marble panels are made up of a thin, 1-mm thick, natural onyx layer coupled with a 3-mm glass layer; the combined effect is one of transparency and resistance, which enhances the natural crystals of onyx.
