Study of the interior design of some apartments placed in a characteristic restored farmhouse, in “Parco Agricolo Sud” di Milano. The rooms have been designed in order to create environments appropriate to the residence of households of various types. The choice of materials and shapes of the furniture reflects the character of the surrounding agricultural context, in accordance with the Lombard tradition of living on the farm. The country style is expressed through the combination of wood with the enameled metal plates of the lighting fixtures and floor tiles. The kitchens have the characteristics of typical environments of farms, center of life and work, and porpose, at the same time, a contemporary way of living.
