The design studio Gariselli Associates is asked to draw the mise en place of restaurant Casa Maffei through a collaboration with Torrecid Group. The project aims to synthesize the atmosphere of the restaurant and use the techniques and materials of their business. The result is a table set complete with underplates, coasters and saucers in monochromatic b&w either gold scale brilliant or antiques, whose subjects are special furniture or furnishing of the place, photographed and reworked to become imperceptible and metaphysical. Then transferred to a special technique of ceramic Torrecid Group, the shape of the dish evokes a classical structure, but on a smooth, flat and thin, for an explicit reference to innovation and research, peculiarities of the group.
