Tomè is a multifunctional divider that divides and organizes spaces furnishing them at the same time. Its name derives from the Greek noun τομή [-ής, ή], cut. The word characterizes both the shape, obtained by laser cutting or shearing of the sheet, and the function, that is to divide a single large space into several rooms.
It is perfect for separating and joining the living room-kitchen area or the hall of a restaurant or for furnishing the hall of a hotel. Thanks to its functionality and modularity it is also suitable for setting up shops and exhibition spaces for events.
Tomè is composed by two modules, bookcase / lamp and hatch / lamp. Each module is wired and can be linked (in series) to the electrical network to illuminate and serve two rooms simultaneously. Even the shelves are modular and made in three different sizes to be mounted indiscriminately both on the three modules.
The development of the project takes into account both structural and manufacturing aspects. All the components have been designed to optimize the transport and packaging phases and can be obtained by blanking the sheet or laser cutting, according to the production numbers.
