unit-design was founded in 2000 by Peter Eckart and Bernd Hilpert. The work of our studio, based in Frankfurt, Germany, is about the hollistic integration of architectural, product and graphic design. Wether it is corporate architecture & environmental branding , signage & wayfinding systems, public design, exhibits & exhibitions or corporate design and information graphics - we love to work in all kind of disciplines. The creativity and originality of unit-design’s work is strongly based on conceptual and contextual strength as well as on the knowledge of materials and functionalities. With around 15 architects, product and graphic designers we are deveolpping our projects through all phases from strategy and concept to realisation. During the last ten years many international projects for various companies and institutions were realised all over the world. Beneath Europe we have worked and are still working in China, Korea and Saudi Arabia. Our clients - local authorities as well as private companies - appreciate the close and transparent cooperation and the intensive care for communication and quality up to the finalisation of the work.
