RAFFAELE DE MARTINO

Raffaele De Martino was born in Naples where he currently lives and works.
In the late '80s he began his studies in Architecture, and work as a graphic designer, animated by a passion for technology and a strong curiosity for traditional techniques and tools.
In 2000 he founded Studio Zud, initially as a graphic and web design studio, there he works as a professional in the visual communication and digital media. In 2003 he made unique pieces, artifacts and sculptures. Since 2005 is interested in recycling and reuse of objects and materials, carrying out a research on the thin line between art and design, organizes exhibitions and sale of his works. Raffaele De Martino's work now shows a commitment to the environment.

His favorite pastime is to walk on the beach and collect objects and materials that leads to the sea shore.
