Valeria Cifalà: a 360 degrees artist, designer, web designer, painter and sculptor; will expose at Fuori Salone del Mobile her futuristic sofa, defined by simple lines that give a touch of minimal and modern design.

Nevertheless, with these simple geometries, combining spaces and volumes of elementary forms, the artist-designer realizes a fine and complex work without sacrificing convenience and comfort of the material and giving a sense and a refined atmosphere.

The challenge, the key of this rule, is to choose the materials, to juxtapose every contrast originally, to put a bit of courage and attitude, like every artist does. The materials in glossy faux leather base, supported by aluminum legs, give a concept clearly modern, with a high-tech appearance that characterizes this sofa. On the contrary, the softer materials and the brilliant colors add warmth and intimate craft, that make the final product very welcoming and pleasant.

Born in Catania, following her parents footsteps, she starts painting in childhood.
Her talent was soon recognized, thanks to the predilection to create and test.
By this way, Valeria had the first collaborations and personal shows, in Sicily and in Milan after.
The need to find her own expressive language pushes her, first and foremost, to study the canvas and the color; this leads Valeria to that style which has been described as "Expressionism of the New Figuration."

In her paintings, the subjects are always, in turn, works of art that create a second figure, where some of the highest peaks in the history of sculpture are trapped in the two-dimensionality. This operation is not just simple transposition of the volume on the canvas, but stands out in a variety of solid colors and painting’s fill.

The graphic element of the flame, recurring theme of digital inspiration, triggers a contrast between eras and is the bearer of a message that wants to anchor the Myth and the History in the concrete achievements of life, seen as a force that is released by contact and shines only through the everyday expressions that existence draws on the humans face.

Tireless in her research, Valeria Cifalà feels the need to overcome, or at least not to stop in front of the canvas, pushing towards the creative spaces opened up by digital technology.
Not only the passion for interior and esterior design, but also graphic design, 3D animation and a kaleidoscope of projects and digital atmospheres.

Valeria attends training courses that accompanies with the work, never satisfied, of self-taught, in a continuous upgrade path that makes her not only an all-round artist, but even a professional, bright and complete.
