MARTIN BREUER BONO

Martin Breuer Bono holds a Master‘s Degree in MechEng/BA from the Technische Universität Wien and a MDes Degree from the Royal College of Art, London. Apart from formalaesthetic considerations his work is focused on conceptional contents and -often linked with that- technological aspects. With reference to that he introduced the term „design development“. In the past years Martin worked on several self-initiated projects for pieces of furniture, tableware and household items, ruthlessly following his characteristic conceptual approach. His work recurrently hovers over the poles meaning and relevance, simplicity and manifestation, limitation and depth. Martin holds several patents, his projects won prestigious international design and innovation prizes, his work was on display in numerous countries. Martin is married and the father of three boys, he lives and works in Graz, Austria.
